SUMMARY:The Making of a Design District Workshop: Part 3 (Develop)
DESCRIPTION:Led by Heather Barker\, Professor of Design at CSULB this hands-on workshop will bring creators\, makers\, and community members together to test and build tactical urbanism interventions. \nParticipants will collaborate to develop prototypes that reflect the district’s unique creative energy. The final showcase will take place during the Art + Design Walk exhibition on February 8\, 2025\, where projects will come to life in a ‘Parking Day’-style outdoor showcase. \nBoth events are free and open to the public and all are welcome to attend. To RSVP for this event please register via our Eventbrite. \nIf you wish to prototype and showcase a project\, you must submit an Expression of Interest form by January 10th.
