DESCRIPTION:What does Long Beach mean to you? – A Walking + Writing Workshop with Mike the Poet\nSeptember 19 | Downtown Long Beach (IDRL@Mosaic\, 290 E. 4th St.) 11am \n\n\nA walking + writing workshop with Mike the Poet through the Downtown Long Beach Design District \n\n\n\n\nWhat does Long Beach mean to you? Is it the music\, architecture\, food\, neighborhoods\, people… or something else entirely? \nJoin Downtown Long Beach Design District Poet-in-Residence Mike Sonksen\, aka Mike the Poet\, for a walking and writing workshop exploring the places\, stories\, and experiences that make up the 562. \nWe’ll meet at the CSULB Immersive Design Research Lab @ Mosaic before heading out on a roughly 45-minute walk through the Downtown Long Beach Design District\, taking in local architecture\, public spaces\, businesses\, and neighborhood landmarks along the way.
