On November 7, the DTLB Design District launches Back Door Poetry, a new gathering celebrating Long Beach poetry, music, and creative voices, programmed by our Poet-in-Residence Mike Sonksen (Mike the Poet).

Launching in conjunction with the CSULB Immersive Design Research Lab’s Design Happening “e-motion,” the evening begins with an immersive experience at the IDRL before leading you off the beaten path and through the back door of Studio One Eleven for an afternoon of poetry, performance, music, and connection.
