Serving greater LA as the Long Beach design hub.
DTLB Design District came to life when our studio was invited to participate in the LA Design Festival. Recognizing a wealth of design-related companies around our office, we invited them to join in, transforming our space into a dynamic festival hub with community events and arts programming that enriched the cultural fabric of our downtown.
Through conversations, panels, exhibitions, installations, and a block party on the Promenade, we helped boost the festival’s presence in Los Angeles, establishing Long Beach as a key player in the regional design community. This success paved the way for the creation of the DTLB Design District.
Fast forward to 2025, the LADF returned to Long Beach as part of this biannual event, tripling in size since its inaugural run in 2023. The festival drew thousands to downtown Long Beach, solidifying the city’s role as the design hub of Greater LA. With the event’s growing influence, Long Beach continues to be a vibrant destination for design and creativity.
