Tanya Crane is an MFA-trained metalsmith and jewelry artist, and Assistant Professor of 3D Foundations, Jewelry, and Sculpture at Long Beach City College. A 2024 United States Artist Fellow in Craft, her work has been recognized by the Society of North American Goldsmiths, Doris Prouty Foundation, and Society of Arts and Crafts–Boston. Crane has exhibited widely, including a solo show Tributaries: Polarity, Exposing the Tensity at the National Ornamental Metal Museum, and her work is held in major collections such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Yale University Art Gallery, Museum of Fine Arts Boston and Houston, and Racine Art Museum.
